International Fire & Forensic Investigations provides quality fire and forensic investigations for insurance companies, independent adjusters, manufactures, and law firms. With over 16 years of experience as a professional firefighter, 13 years as a MESC (Manitoba Emergency Services College) trained fire investigator, and an overlapping 20 year career in the construction industry as a Certified Engineering Technologist.  We provide the experience, knowledge, and the qualifications to provide the highest quality investigation services across Canada and around the world.

Ken has been accepted in the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Manitoba Provincial Court as an expert witness specializing in structure fires, fire pattern analysis, and fire suppression techniques. With 5 years on the Arson Strike Force in Winnipeg and another 8 years of experience with the Manitoba Fire Commissioner’s Office and the private sector, Ken has completed over 1000 fire and forensic investigations and holds the following designations:

• Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator
• Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator
• Certified Fire Investigator Instructor
• Certified FI-200 Fire Investigator (Wildland)
• Level 1 Certified Radiography Technician

In addition to these IFFSAC and ProBoard certified courses Ken has also obtained an additional 30+ fire investigation and forensic related certified courses in order to remain current with the latest techniques and technologies in the industry.
